Going Home II has hosted 3 Community Feed events to engage the community, thanks to Measure 110. With a 4th event upcoming.
Community Relations
We sponsor two yearly events at Columbia River Correctional Institution to build relationships between adults in custody and the community in which they will return to. Representation of up to 20 organizations, companies and community leaders are in attendance at each of these events.
Community Forum
Our Community Forum, held at De La Salle North Catholic High School, creates a welcoming space for open dialogue and connection. Attendees listen to each other’s experiences, voice concerns about issues affecting our community, and learn valuable outreach strategies. It’s an inspiring evening filled with meaningful conversations and collective action toward creating a positive impact.

BACKPACK GIVEAWAY
Partnering with multiple organizations, we are giving away hundreds of backpack’s to kids in need within the community this summer.
Family
We partner with several organizations as a way to help restore relationships in families and support those who have been affected by a loved one being incarcerated.
Family Fun Day
Hosted in association with ISUPPORTIT THE BRAND, Family Fun Day features games, a dominoes tournament, free food provided by Cathy’s Kitchen, prizes, and giveaways. The event held at Dawson Park!
Saturday Men’s Group
Every Saturday from 7am to 10am located at Going Home II’s Behavioral Health Center, 1523 NE 6th Ave, Portland OR 97232. This group is open to the public, for more information please email mfesser@goinghome2.org
Summer Youth Workshop
Join us for a fun and empowering Youth Workshop at the New Columbia Community Room, happening every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30–3:00 PM. Designed for teens, this free program offers art, music, games, life skills, and real talk in a safe, welcoming space. Snacks provided—just bring your energy and your voice!
